A 1p levy on self-service transactions could help drive connection

As our economy and society has prioritised what's efficient over what's important, various tools and technologies have replaced the meaning we derive from interaction with others.
That's why we need a 1p levy on self-service transactions, which remove the opportunity for conversation, connection and community.
That levy could raise £30m a year to invest in new community projects to reduce loneliness and build community.
